Humanity's mastery of technology has extended their reach into the stars! Solar power, fusion reactors, artificial intelligence, and quantum physics have unlocked the next stage of human colonization across the solar system and beyond. The moon is gaining inhabitants by the day in its comfortable dome cities. Mars is the site of cutting edge terraforming research, and while the atmosphere outside its enclosed cities is still uninhabitable, new breakthroughs in creating life and air on this once-desolate planet keep coming. Countless space stations are home to space-dwelling folk - some who never even set foot on a planet. And inbetween them all, ships powered by the latest fusion reactors make speedy trips for those looking to begin their next adventure elsewhere in the solar system.

Factions

Lifeworks Initiative

A leading figure in the grand project of terraforming, Lifeworks Initiative maintains research stations on Mars, Venus, Mercury, and other planets and moons with the sole aim of progressing habititability in new places. Their grandest and perhaps most controversial breakthrough is the use of DNA research to fabricate exotic creatures to test and contribute to the creation of new biomes on Mars. They assure investors that these creatures are perfectly safe.

Revpoint Atomic

An energy group responsible for the manufacture of the latest and greatest ship engines, power generators, and other technological marvels. They have a presence anywhere there is a significant population. They employ Millenium Security and a closer glance could make one wonder why an energy group requires so much firepower.

Millenium Security

A private security contracter made up of anyone willing to do the dirty dangerous work no one else wants to do.

Kogawa Corporation

The leader in artificial intelligence. Their robots and computers have made everyday life in space and on the ground extremely convenient. Their primary research facility on Titan is extremely secretive and only those with the highest levels of need to know have knowledge of what goes on there.

Nakhimov Galactic

One of two rival transport companies. They have been around longer than Pegasus, but seem to be losing to the newcomer's uncanny ability to harness wormholes. A safer option for those who prefer the old fashioned way of travelling in a straight line.

Pegasus

A relatively new transport company. Their mastery of wormhole travel took everyone by surprise and made space travel much faster.
