Bastet Day 1

Continuing the tradition of naming PCs after Egyptian deities, this one is called Bastet.

This Antec case is so clean you could eat off of it.

Starting with the motherboard stuff. GAMING PLUS!!!! Even though I'm not using it for gaming, really.

Ryzen seems cool, so why not.

Delicious computer chips.

This used to be the most nerve-wrenching part, but it's pretty easy now?

RIP JAW

Rip Jaw installed (and later re-installed after I realize I didn't put it in the dual-channel slots or whatever)

This used to cost 5 billion dollars.

I guess it just goes back under this thing?? shrug

Le power

It just slides in behind the back plate and screws in, which is very convenient.

Very spacious, tons of drive bays. PSU has its own little house!

Wait where are my case screws!? Oh.

This will all later come back out briefly after I realize I didn't put in the right-side ATX mount screws which bothers me enough to want to put them in.

Not hot dogs, but actually a hard drive.

They include these brackets for the smaller drive sizes I guess, which is cool.

Hard Drive next.

I like the trend of having screw-less bays. It's really convenient for just popping drives in with no hassle.

Drive bay cables come out the back, where there is a spacious cable management area under this side of the case.

The velcro strips are a nice touch for cable management.

And there's a lot of places to route cables through to make it as organized as possible.

Front fans.

With grill

Video next.

It's just a 3050 but it'll do.

Fully modular or go home

Coming together.
